Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise

This book is a classic. It was first copyrighted in 1947! It's an old book but for some reason my daughter loves it. We must read it every day. As for me, I hate it. I think it's a dumb book and I have no idea why it has lasted this long. The book is about a bunny who is in his room ready for bed but before he can go to sleep he has to say goodnight to everything and I mean everything. The moon, the air, the noises, the clocks, the pictures. It does have a lot of rhymes which for me is probably the only highlight of this book. I dread reading this one and for some reason my daughter probably knows this and wants to make me suffer by reading it over and over.
