Skidamarink The "I love you" Song Illustrated by Jacqueline East

My 3 year old loves this one. She loves music of any kind and especially loves when I sing the book to her. A family of bears go through out their day showing the baby bear how much they love him. It's a quick book able to keep most children's attention. If you want to learn the song and sing it whenever this is a great way to remember it. I always add some actions to it. When you sing the skidamarink part you put the right hand under the left hands elbow with the left arm vertical at a 90 degree angle. While wiggling the figures, then you change hands. When you get to the part where they sing "I love you" you sign I love you. I, point to yourself. Love, cross your arms over your chest. You, point to the person you're singing with.
